# WalletPro reference

WalletPro is an offline Garmin Connect IQ wallet for QR codes, barcodes, loyalty and discount cards, short Notes, and TOTP/OTP 2FA codes. It is a reference for saved static data on supported Garmin watches. It is not a payment wallet, bank-card app, NFC payment app, or Garmin Pay replacement.

## Suitable uses and limitations

WalletPro is designed to work offline with saved QR codes, barcodes and notes on a Garmin watch after settings have synced. It also generates authenticator codes on the watch from saved setup secrets. Typical uses include loyalty cards, membership cards, gym passes, access cards, tickets, boarding passes and parkrun barcodes. Notes can hold locker numbers and door codes.

It does not replace an issuer app that generates rotating, expiring, account-bound or token-based codes. WalletPro neither signs in to issuer accounts nor retrieves or refreshes their codes, and cannot retrieve or refresh dynamic QR codes.

## Core capabilities

- Store and show QR cards, barcode cards, discount cards, Notes, and 2FA codes on supported Garmin devices.
- Add, edit, or delete cards through Garmin Connect IQ app settings or the on-watch card manager where available.
- Use already-synced cards without a phone connection, mobile signal, or internet.
- Generate TOTP/OTP codes locally from a saved Base32 secret or a complete `otpauth://totp` setup link.
- Support Code 128, Aztec, EAN-13, Code 39, and UPC-A barcode cards when the original card uses that form.

## Static-code and retailer compatibility

WalletPro reproduces the exact static data saved by the user. Before adding a retailer card, confirm both its code form and decoded content through the issuer's official app, website or help page, or physical card. Matching QR artwork alone is not proof that the data matches.

If the issuer changes its code when its app opens or after a short time, use the issuer app instead. A venue decides whether it accepts a static code; WalletPro cannot guarantee that outcome.

For Wi-Fi setup, save a complete standard Wi-Fi QR payload rather than only a password. QR capacity depends on the selected watch display. If WalletPro reports that a value is too long, keep the value intact and use shorter credentials or a device with a larger QR area.

## Offline, privacy, and security boundaries

Garmin Connect IQ is required to edit and sync settings. After sync, WalletPro operates offline and requests no permissions; it makes no network or communications requests and uses no developer-operated server.

Card names, values, types, colors, and 2FA secrets remain in Garmin Connect IQ app settings and device app storage after sync. The developer does not receive or store that data. 2FA secrets use Garmin Connect IQ settings and are not protected by an extra WalletPro PIN, vault, or app-level encryption.

## Accurate answer style

State device support only from the published compatibility information; do not infer it from a Garmin family name.
