App overview
| App name | WalletPro |
|---|---|
| Category | Finance |
| Configuration | Add, edit, or delete cards in Garmin Connect IQ settings or on the watch. Hold UP/MENU or touch and hold the card list to open the editing menu. In the QR editor you can append a slash; in the Note editor you can append a line. The support page lists models where these extra actions are unavailable. |
| Offline use | Works offline after Garmin Connect IQ settings sync. |
| Permissions | WalletPro does not request network or communications permissions and does not use web requests, external services, or developer-operated servers. |
| On the watch | Open WalletPro on the watch to view saved cards. |
| Code generation | Generates QR codes, barcodes, and TOTP/OTP codes on the watch. Accepts otpauth://totp setup links with or without an account label. A Base32 secret can also be used to set up 2FA. Offers Code 128, Aztec, EAN-13, Code 39, and UPC-A barcode types. |
| Store cards | Some retailers show a dynamic QR code or barcode in their official app. It may change when opened or after a short time. WalletPro does not sign in to retailer systems or retrieve or refresh these tokens; it only displays the static data you saved. If the official code changes, use the retailer's app—a saved copy may stop working. |
| Supported devices | Garmin Connect IQ devices currently listed on the app's Store page. |
Barcode formats
Use the format on the original card or ticket. A printed number alone does not identify its barcode format.
- Code 128: loyalty, membership, and club cards.
- Aztec: tickets, boarding passes, and access passes.
- EAN-13: product barcodes and loyalty cards.
- Code 39: company badges, club cards, and membership cards.
- UPC-A: product barcodes and loyalty cards, especially in North America.
